Well.... I'm not sure who is falsely advertising... this Sleep Inn or the online travel website. The pictures on the internet site is NOT this Sleep Inn, However, the one in PORT CLINTON!!! So DO NOT expect a nice looking hotel, or a nice outdoor pool... becasue there is none. When questioned about the incorrect advertising, the front desk staff laughed and said oh yeah... this happens all the time... the online travel website is aware of the problem too. So my question was WHO's responsibility is it to fix this problem?? The only reason we paid $* a night was because they advedrtised a beautiful outdoor pool and nice rooms. When we arrived it was evident that there was neither. The front desk attendant, who was they alone with no housekeeping, etc., stated she was not authorized to credit our card for the room if we cancelled and that her manager was out of town until Tuesday. GREAT BUSINESS TACTICS!!! So we were stuck there with no option but to lose $*dollars and try to find another room on a Saturday. There are rooms RIGHT across the street for $* less that are just as nice if not nicer. We will NOT be staying here again!!!! Oh!! I almost forgot.... the indoor pool that they DO have had about 50 people in it..... it should have MAYBE held 20!!!! NO thanks.

Where do I start. Upon arriving the front desk clerk was very hard to understand and did not listen very well. Most employee's were foreign so did not make things easier. Ordered a rollaway bed and did not receive it yet they tried to charge us for it. When we got into our room and turned on the T.V. there was nothing but static. I had to trace the cable lines to a box and attempt to fix it myself, luckily i did and we got the cable in. The water pressure was absolutley horrible and the air conditioner leaked all over the floor. Went to go try out the hot tub to find out the jets didnt even work which rendered it useless. After all the troubles I finally seen something I liked, the fitness room. Oh boy the room was very small and upon using the first peice of equiptment showed its age as it got stuck up from all the rust build up on the metal. The only thing that was remotely good about this hotel was the breakfast. I would really suggest going to a different hotel.

I stayed at this hotel in august with my wife and kids and was very happy with the hotel. the staff was very friendly and my room was great. The hotel was in a great location near a lot of restaurants and was close to cedar point. I would suggest if you are looking for a cheaper hotel to stay at this would be a good choice.

My wife and I just recently stayed at this hotel. At check in we were greeted with a warm welcome. The front desk clerk named Nathan was very friendly and helpful. there was an applebee's restaurant on the property which was very convenient for us. The room was spotless.The beds were very comfortable and we had good night sleep without any disturbances. In the morning there were a lot of choices for breakfast with hot waffles on the weekend. The hotel was in a great location and had plenty of free parking. There was an indoor swimming pool and jaquzzi and we loved that there was an elevator since there were three floors. I would stay here again in the future.
